Miss Taye Ajoke, a student at The Mustapha Isa Agwai Polytechnic, was abducted last Monday night but has now been released. Initially, her abductors demanded a ransom of N50 million, but they later reduced it to N500,000, knowing that her family couldn’t afford it.
Eventually, after numerous pleas from her parents, the kidnappers accepted N300,000 for her release. Thankfully, she was released around 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
